Where You Find the Strength to Be Yourself
Live, adaptive fitness that meets your body exactly where you are—no judgment, no diet talk, just movement that feels good
What Is Strength Camp?
Strength Camp is your virtual home base for building strength, stability, and body trust through live Zoom sessions. Think less “bootcamp” and more “supportive community where you can show up in your pajamas and nobody cares.”
Here’s what makes us different: Every single workout adapts to YOU. Wrist issues? We’ve got modifications. Low energy day? We’ll meet you there. Chronic illness? I’ll do absolutely everything possible to support you.
What you’ll gain: Strength for real life—carrying groceries, playing with kids, hiking that trail you’ve been meaning to try, saying YES to adventure, and trusting your body to show up for you.

If you’ve ever felt like you “didn’t belong” in a traditional gym setting… if you’ve ever feared judgment, if you’ve never quite found the “right” program – this is the program for you. I welcome you here with a huge virtual high five!

Strength Camp gives us all opportunities to; learn more about our bodies, explore new movements, learn methods to manage our energy levels, and to develop strength, stability, balance, power, mobility, body trust and more.
All workouts and stretches are ADAPTIVE!
YOU know your body best and I respect that you are the world’s foremost authority and expert on what it’s like to be YOU. I continuously offer adaptations for all exercises. We have participants of all ability levels, a wide range of ages (2-82), varied energy levels, and with diverse goals. If you’ve ever been afraid you wouldn’t “fit in” or worried that movement based classes would be “one size fits all” – this may be the group for you. Come as you are and do what you can, with what you have, when you have it. Everyone is welcome and adaptations are centered to create a fantastic experience for everyone. Have wrist issues? We’ve got you. Old track injury? We’ve got you. Have difficulty standing for long periods? We’ve got you. Fibromyalgia, RA, or chronic illness? I’ll do absolutely everything possible to support you.
Equipment Suggested
- Household items work! Cans, water bottles, detergent containers, books are all a great place to start.
- We can also use equipment you may have at home: olympic bars, kettlebells, TRX, bosu, a chair, etc.
- Many people start with 3 or 5 pound weights and are now lifting 10/12/15/20/25 pound weights.
- Resistance bands are an inexpensive and fantastic way to begin.
- A Yoga mat or exercise mat, a yoga block, and a yoga strap are really useful.
Frequently Asked Questions about strength Camp
1. What is included in each Strength Camp? Each camp includes TWO 55 minute one-on-one check-ins with me, Stacey, 3 live online strength training sessions per week (M/W/F at 6:10am, 7:10am, and 10:10am), 2 bonus active recovery classes per week (Tues/Thurs, same times), a supportive and active online community group, optional bonus workshops, access to our Marco Polo Sharecast, and access to a library of workout recordings. You’ll also hear from and have access to me in between sessions – you’ll always have plentiful support.
2. How hard are the sessions? Can beginners participate? Yes, beginners can and absolutely DO participate. Whether you are starting again or for the first time, I’ll meet you exactly where you’re at. All sessions can be adapted to best meet your needs, relative to each individual day. I encourage body trust and interoception by using a scale from 1-10 scale to check in with participants about their current energy levels. We also check in with our bodies during the warm up at the beginning of class AND run through all movements we’ll do, which allows me to offer options, adaptations, and progressions for all movements; based on how you feel that day. I understand that every day is different, that sometimes our bodies or minds are tired, and that many of us can experience chronic illness/pain flares. I’m here to support you, with great detail to safety and efficacy, through it all. Whether you’re just starting out or have attended multiple camps, sessions can be as gentle or rigorous as you’d like for them to be for each day.
3. How much space do I need to participate? You typically need the space of about one to two yoga mats. Participants work out from kitchens, hallways, bedrooms, living rooms, garages, yards, or patios—wherever feels most comfortable to you.
4. What equipment do I need? You can start with household items like cans, water bottles, detergent containers, or books. Many people begin with 3-5 pound weights and progress from there. Resistance bands are an inexpensive option, and I can help you find affordable equipment when you’re ready to upgrade. You’ll likely be surprised how quickly you’ll need heavier weights and we’ll cross that bridge together when you come to it. A yoga mat, block, and strap are also useful, especially for active recovery days.
5. What should I wear? Do I need special workout clothes? You don’t need anything fancy! Many participants join in their pajamas. I often have sleep lines on my face and tousled hair during morning sessions. I’m not here to be aesthetically pleasing – I’m here to support you in being strong and safe. Whether it’s pajamas or a matching set, please wear whatever you’re comfortable in. As for shoes; you can choose to wear shoes or be barefoot, whatever serves your body’s needs best.
6. Is this program focused on weight loss? No. Strength Camp focuses on what you GAIN, not what you lose. The focus is on building strength, stability, balance, power, mobility, and body trust. Fatphobia and weight loss/diet rhetoric are not part of this program and we have strict rules on the mention of intentional weight loss, self-deprecating humor, or dieting. Body neutrality, kindness to self and others, and body trust are centered values.
7. Will I ever meet other participants in person? I aim to schedule at least one in-person get-together per season in the Greater Seattle area (happy hour, roller rink, local restaurant, pumpkin farm, etc.). Schedules are hard and people are busy but we try to meet up when/if possible. For those not in Western Washington, there are plenty of team events on Zoom to build community.
8. What happens if Stacey is sick or has to cancel a class? I’m a regular human who sometimes gets sick, has family emergencies, who experiences grief annd the ups and downs of life just like everyone else. I try very hard to always be there for you, but in the event that I am unable to teach, replays and written workouts are readily available. You’ll receive communication from me ASAP via text, the group forum, the Marco Polo sharecast, and email, along with a pre-recorded video or written workout. You’ll always have multiple options to choose from and support; even when I can’t physically join you. It is incredibly important for me to lead by example. When I am ill, have an emergency, or need a mental health day – I take it just as I would/will encourage YOU to do. Please never “push through” illness to work out. Allowing our bodies to rest may feel tough in a world that encourages us to suffer – but it’s important to listen and honor our needs. We recover so much faster if we allow our bodies/minds to rest and recover.
9. What if I have physical limitations, injuries, or chronic conditions? All workouts are adaptive! I continuously offer adaptations and options for exercises. Participants range from ages 2-82 with varied ability levels and energy levels. Whether you have wrist issues, old injuries, difficulty standing for long periods, fibromyalgia, RA, hyper mobility, or chronic/pain illness—you’re supported.
10. Are payment plans or financial assistance available? Yes! Payment plans, self-selected sliding scale, and equity-based pricing are available. Afterpay, CashApp, and Apple Pay options are also offered. I have have never turned anyone away—if you want to be there and need support, you’re welcomed with open arms. I’m here for you and we’ll find a way to make it work.
